What type of video connector do security cameras use?

Our security cameras have a female BNC connection. All of our Video & Power cables have two male BNC ends which connect a camera to a DVR

Can I view my CCTV from another location?

Most DVR’s allow remote access through the internet from another location. Some “Smart Phones” like the iphone also have applications to allow you to view your cameras when and where you desire.

Will my CCTV camera see in the dark?

Day/Night Cameras and IR Cameras are capable of seeing in the dark in monochrome mode. However, the better the lighting conditions, the better the picture.

Why do I need CCTV?

CCTV helps to protect your business and staff; it is a visible deterrent against theft and vandalism. CCTV can also be useful in home security to monitor and protect the interior and exterior of properties. Can several users view one site at once?

Most Internet-enabled Security DVR systems allow multiple users to view the same site simultaneously. However, as more people look at the same cameras/DVR at the same time, the bandwidth will be shared between them.
